ES Exam

Hi Class,

The exam is 3 hrs long in total and comprises of 4 sections.

Here is a rough guide to how much time should be spent for each:

Section A (grammar) – 45 mins

Section B (vocabulary) – 35 mins

Section C (summary) – 45 mins

Section D (essay) – 54 mins

Also, for the essay section 10 marks is rewarded for content and 20
marks is allocated for the rest (grammar, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation etc).
